A Note from Kira
I started writing at twelve years old because I needed somewhere to put everything I couldn't say out loud. The worlds I built were safer than the one I was living in, and the characters I created were braver than I knew how to be.
That hasn't changed. I still write to survive — through fibromyalgia flares, anxiety spirals, the beautiful chaos of four kids, and a husband who somehow keeps up with all of it. The stories demand to be written, and I show up for them.
